The team aims to partner with strategic retailers and distributors to bring CAPNOS into the global market. With over one million preventable annual deaths from the leading cause of death being smoking, building brand familiarity with regional, local access can be crucial toward community adoption among groups of smokers or vapers.

Partnerships with health insurance payers and quit programs would allow subsidized costs for greater access. Programs and customers save costs from expensive treatments by taking a proactive approach over a reactive one when health conditions can be too far gone.

Schools also recognize vaping is a rampant issue. Rather than just employing the “quit because it’s bad for you message,” CAPNOS believes that updated curriculum with educational resources on “how to recognize habits, patterns, and behaviors to create control” while having access to tangible tools for students could end the problem, rather than prolong it further.

CAPNOS is also committed to research opportunities to advance the understanding of sensory dependences attributed to vaping or smoking cravings. Behavioral cravings that arise as a result of prolonged nicotine usage deserves more attention to better understand how new innovations can be effective solutions for a complex system of desires.

CAPNOS SAFETY

We conducted a full lab report with a third party lab, with our Safety Data Sheets reporting that our products contain no toxicity, no irrigation, no allergenicity, no carcinogenicity, nor any hazard for its intended use. The CAPNOS devices can be used fully independent of any natural extracts, so all that occurs is that you would be breathing in the same air around you, just passing through a silicone valve to create the throat hit. Therefore, our products are safe for its intended purpose. If you are unaware of certain allergies or reactions to natural extracts and essential oils, please consult with a health professional before using any flavoring.

 At CAPNOS, we understand that the safety of our products is of the utmost importance to our customers, especially when it comes to the use of our products during pregnancy. We recommend consulting with a healthcare professional before using any products, including flavors, during pregnancy. They will be able to provide you with specific guidance on what is safe to use based on your individual health needs and circumstances.

We source natural extracts that are deemed safe for general use according to the FDA's Code of Federal Regulations, Title 21, Volume 3 (21CFR182.20). With flavors like lavender, peppermint, and orange citrus, a few drops will go a long way as only 4 drops per cap can last as long as 2-4 weeks while still containing its aroma. Each Flavor Vial is filled about halfway and contains enough oil for a few months of use. Cap Packs contain other flavor options and are interchangeable with both the CAPNOS E-Z and Zero. Since there is no heating element, no smoke nor vapor is produced. Meaning, you pick up the flavor through your olfactory system. We recommend waiting a few minutes upon dripping the oils to prevent any leakage or spit-back, so that they can fully soak into the wicks.

We source natural extracts that are deemed safe for general use according to the FDA's Code of Federal Regulations, Title 21, Volume 3 (21CFR182.20). With flavors like Yukamint, Citrus Tango, and Peppebacco, we also have the blank wicks for your chance to experiment with a different essential oil using your blank wicks. While we recommend using the flavors sourced by us for the best experience, you can use food-grade natural extracts to create your own flavors. However, we cannot guarantee the safety or performance of third-party extracts.

Our devices are flavorless by default until you choose to add your preferred natural extracts for flavor. Many of our customers enjoy using the devices in this way to achieve a clean throat hit sensation without the use of flavors.

You have the flexibility to customize your experience by adding flavors as you see fit, allowing you to tailor your quit journey to your preferences.

While our products may resemble a vape, they are designed differently—there's no heating element, and no smoke or vapor is produced. The flavor experience is subtle, as it works through the olfactory system with natural extracts, offering a safer alternative for those seeking relief from oral fixations.

Short answer: no. Since there’s no nicotine or chemicals, you will not get a buzz. However, taking deeper breaths of air has been proven to provide a natural relaxant as it does help calm your nerves if you feel stressed, anxious, bored, out of place, irritated, or even if you’re too excited!

Shipping and Return

Yes! You can return your order at any time if it is unopened. Purchased a Starter Pack and flavor packs? Decided you won't use the refills? Send any unopened items back to us for a 100% refund including shipping costs if delivered within the USA. However, due to the oral nature of our product, we do not provide returns or refunds for opened/unpackaged products. If you are unhappy with your purchase or experience, send us an email at hello@mycapnos.com for warranty inquiries. We review each case! If you experience a shipping-related issue and do not receive your order, you may be eligible for a reshipment or refund.

Yes, you may be able to return an item that has already been shipped by refusing delivery or using return labels provided by the CAPNOS. To return an item by refusing delivery, you will need to let the delivery person know that you are refusing the package and ask them to return it to the sender. To return an item using return labels provided by the company, you will need to follow the instructions provided to package and ship the item back to CAPNOS. Please note that it may take longer to receive your refund when using return labels, as the company will need to process the return and issue the refund once they receive the item back.

Shipping typically can take between 3-5 business days on average to the continental US depending on location and postal service slowdowns. Please allow for longer if you are ordering outside of the US or if the item has been shipped and seems to be taking a long time. Often times, packages can get delayed without notice due to postal service issues, so please do keep that in mind when ordering.

TROUBLESHOOTING

This is likely occurring when your lips are placed at the end of the opening of the cap. Try taking a pull with your lips placed further along the cap, near the colored band of the cap. By doing so, you are allowing for a clear passage of airflow to flow inward. When your lips create a partial blockage at the end of the cap, a funny sound can occur.

Don’t worry! It can be reattached. Simply pry open the bottom circular piece of your Zero / E-Z Base unit, then remove the valve attachment. Insert the valve with the concave side up (like a food bowl) and push in the sides until it’s fully inserted. Reattach everything and you’re all good to go!

How to Reinstall the CAPNOS Valve (E-Z and Zero)

If your device isn't popping, this is an uncommon problem, but don't worry, there is a solution. Try poking a needle or a pin into the four center holes of the base to the valve. This simple fix should resolve the issue and get your device working properly again.

To get the desired throat hit sensation, we recommend trying this technique: take a deep inhale for about 3 seconds, similar to the breath you take when resurfacing after being underwater. This can help optimize your experience with our device.
